Blaise Alexander's AutoTrakk System Receives US Government Patent Recognition

(Montoursville, PA) AutoTrakk, a Montoursville, PA based automobile leasing corporation, has been granted a patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The patent, number US 7,860,764 B1, officially recognizes the AutoTrakk method and system for leasing motor vehicles to credit challenged consumers as exceptional and unique within the auto leasing industry. The newly patented system combines low weekly lease payments with a payment reminder system to provide reliable transportation to credit challenged consumers.

The original concept was developed by Blaise Alexander, Chairman of AutoTrakk, who then turned to Robert Malcolm, a friend and successful entrepreneur to develop a comprehensive system and business plan. The result of their collaboration became known as the “AutoTrakk” system.

“The AutoTrakk program was designed from the very beginning to make good, reliable transportation affordable for nearly everyone,” explained Alexander. “We felt too many good people were being denied the opportunity to drive a dependable vehicle because their credit score may have been damaged due solely to a bad economy or unfortunate circumstances such as illness or divorce. At AutoTrakk we understand that bad things can happen to good people” said Alexander.

Robert Malcolm, Chief Executive Officer of AutoTrakk said “The AutoTrakk system is a marriage of modern technology and traditional underwriting practices that focus on attention to detail. We review every aspect of every transaction to ensure the consumer can afford the vehicle they have selected and that the vehicle will serve them well. We actually provide a warranty for each vehicle we finance” stated Malcolm.

The AutoTrakk system is available only through the AutoTrakk network of dealers. Over the past ten years the AutoTrakk network has grown to include over 500 dealers serving customers in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.

AutoTrakk Interfaces With Dealer Track

AutoTrakk has now partnered with DealerTrack, the industry’s first and largest financing network. Auto dealers that are members of both the AutoTrakk and DealerTrack networks can now request credit reports, build and submit credit application data, view the real-time status of contracts-in-transit, and track AutoTrakk’s fast funding process.

The integration of DealerTrack into the AutoTrakk proprietary system enables dealers to submit applications to their traditional lenders AND to AutoTrakk simultaneously with a single click of the mouse. “What this means for our dealers” explained AutoTrakk CEO, Robert Malcolm, “is that dealers no longer need to re-enter data for applications that may be turned down by their local bank.” “By including AutoTrakk on their list of lenders, dealers need only enter an application once and the same data is submitted to AutoTrakk in addition to other lenders on their list, no more double entry”

The instant the data is received, the proprietary AutoTrakk system automatically optimizes the proposed deal for the dealer and returns the decision through the DealerTrack system. The dealer then completes the deal in the AutoTrakk Dealer Support Center to generate all the necessary forms and paperwork.

AutoTrakk’s goal is to make every step of the process easier for the dealer and to return an approved deal structure optimized for the dealer within just minutes of the application being received. “We’re always exploring new ways to make the AutoTrakk system easier and more profitable for our dealers” stated Malcolm.

The AutoTrack network now includes over 550 dealers in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and New York.

AutoTrakk Launches New Web Portal

Auto Trakk continues to leverage the latest technology to provide the best possible service to customers and dealers..

(February 4, 2011) AutoTrakk today unveiled a new public / corporate web site and Internet portal to their Dealer Support System. The new site is designed to make it easier for consumers to learn more about the benefits of leasing through the newly patented AutoTrakk system.

The new site also makes it much easier for consumers to locate an authorized AutoTrakk dealer with a dealer search feature that lists all authorized dealers in all of the states Auto Trakk serves. Dealer listings include not only the name, address, and phone number of authorized dealers but also links to dealers' web sites and produces an interactive map of each dealer’s exact location. Additionally, the new AutoTrakk site summarizes for dealers the many benefits of being an authorized AutoTrakk dealer as well as how to contact AutoTrakk to become a dealer.

The new Auto Trakk site also serves as a portal for both Auto Trakk dealers and customers granting them access to important features such as the AutoTrakk Dealer Support System and the AutoTrakk Customer Support Center. Customers can manage their accounts, update contact information, and make payments securely online. Dealers can submit applications on behalf of customers, monitor Auto Trakk’s fast funding process, and access an entire library of forms and publications. AutoTrakk’s new system also produces all the necessary forms and completed paperwork for the dealer.

Future plans for the site include a cosmetic make-over of the Dealer and Customer Support Centers to incorporate the look and feel of the web site’s new User Interface and an embedded message center to inform customers and dealers of important news and developments immediately upon logging in. The new web site was developed in-house by AutoTrakk staff programmers.
